PROJECT: CHAMPION VOL. 1
is a hip-hop beat tape album sampling songs from the Pokemon series all produced live on sampling gear such as the Akai MPC One and the Roland SP-404. Throughout my journey as a producer, I've adopted different skills and values in my everyday life. Many of these tracks are an expression of what I've learned thus far, using the storyline of the tracks as a metaphor.

The heart of this album is a nostalgic nod to the soul of classic Pokemon tracks while emulating the sonics of my favorite artists who inspire my craft.

I want my audience to know the face behind the music, so expect that with future releases! I plan to release more info about my process of making this album with the launch of my new blog! I always wanted to show people my artistic process and I feel the best way to show others the inner workings of my frantic mind is through a blog!
